new, underground, signed or independent recording artist and
entertainers. BEATS
objective is to only profile those artists that hold the
convictions and attitude necessary for success in the

Marella - "BEATS" Host Marella is a student at the University of Alabama majoring in Telecommunication and Film with a minor in Theatre and Psychology. The former radio personality from Columbus, MS enjoys acting and writing, and is a member of the University of Alabama Forensics (speech) Team. Marella has won many awards as a result of her talent and skill on the forensics team. She aspires to be amongst the stars in the entertainment industry by way of acting, performing, and of course, hosting. Marella enjoys the fact that BEATS is an outlet for creative people. She believes that to often the public is overwhelmed with mainstream commercial talent, and that many aspiring artists aren't aware of the different types of expressive forms that are out there. Also, she knows that BEATS gives the artist an extra incentive to keep moving toward his or her dream. This full time student and talent enjoys life very much.
